SK Hynix (HXSCL) expects to spend about 11.9T won to acquire ASML's (ASML) extreme ultraviolet, or EUV, lithography scanners, according to the company's regulatory filing as part of its IPO on Nasdaq.
Shares of ASML (ASML) climbed about 4%, as did other chip equipment makers, as the broader market also showed signs of recovery premarket on Monday after last week's selloff.
